यूपी में मिड-डे मील की स्टोरी करने पर पत्रकार को डीएम की शिकायत पर जेल भेज दिया गया था। यूपी के बलिया में बोर्ड परीक्षाओं का पर्चा लीक करने की खबर चलाने पर 3 पत्रकारों को प्रशासन ने जेल भेज दिया था। जाने माने पत्रकार और फैक्ट चेकर मोहम्मद ज़ुबैर को दिल्ली पुलिस ने गिरफ्तार किया और यूपी के सीतापुर पूछताछ के लिए लेकर गई। टीवी पत्रकार अमन चोपड़ा पर राजस्थान में मामला दर्ज किया गया। इससे पहले पत्रकार अर्णब गोस्वामी को महाराष्ट्र पुलिस ने गिरफ्तार करके जेल भेजा था। आपको याद होगा कि दिवंगत पत्रकार विनोद दुआ के खिलाफ हिमाचल में केस दर्ज हुआ था और उन्हें अगले दिन हिमाचल में कोर्ट के सामने पेश होने का समन जारी किया गया था। अब पत्रकार रोहित रंजन का मामला सामने आया है, जिसमें छत्तीसगढ़ पुलिस रायपुर में उन पर केस दर्ज किया और यूपी के गाजियाबाद में गिरफ्तार करने पहुंची थी।
